I don't want to give too much of the story away, so I'll make this brief. This is the tale of a Jinn named Crone who must take the virginity of a witch, named Tessa in order to save her from a centuries-old family curse. Tessa is a clumsy witch who is still learning to use her magic. Some of the things she does made me laugh out loud--like when she started chanting a spell to escape from a warlock's prison and she ended up conjuring up a sex demon instead! Crone, on the other hand, is super powerful. He has a reputation for being a deadly assassin, but Tessa feels safe around him and his magic. She tries not to reveal how little power she has, but he figures it out anyway. In the beginning, Tessa is just using Crone to get her power back, but the more time she spends with him, the more she desires him. The feeling is mutual. The attraction between these two is hot! Soon, Crone can't imagine himself without her. In the end, she's forced to choose what path to take once she gets her power back. What I liked best about this book was the host of magical characters that came with it. All of Crone's brothers and his father have powers, too. When they combine for a common cause, they are unstoppable. I'm looking forward to reading about the other men in the series. Whether you like magic or not, you'll be spellbound by Crone and his family. I highly recommend!

Sultry Nights was a fun, sexy and exciting addition to Valerie Twombly’s Jinn Seduction series. Holly mother it was a seductive story and at times had me rolling! Crone is probably my favorite character so far and Tessa…. well she is a great female lead. Their dynamics and the bonds between other characters were fantastic. Valerie really nailed it in this story. I blew through book, seriously, I sat down and the story and I took off! It takes a lot to impress me with characters, especially female leads in romance stories, they are often so whiny and weak but not Tessa. The girl was fantastic! She was witty and fun while not being obnoxious. I loved how strong she was, even if she didn’t believe it and her antics had me cracking up. Crone was a great character too. His backstory just pulled at my heart and I found myself really drawn to his character, loved him! There were so many emotions that grabbed me in this story but one thing that really stood out was the humor. Good lord I loved this book! I am still chuckling. )

Valerie always does a good job of bring to life realistic, engaging characters that you want to read about but this story was a step beyond, the story came alive in my mind.

The Jinn series is taking off and I am so excited to see where it goes. This story had a great story line that kept me turning the pages. It didn’t lag or bore me, had me at times laughing, was pulling at my heart and at others… wishing for a fan. Crone and Tessa are a spicy couple. I am so eager for the next story, I think I know who… and I hope I am correct because if so, we are in for another treat!

Although it's a novella, it actually feels like a regular full length book. There's not only a beginning and and end there's a well rounded middle in between, unlike a lot of other novellas. It's well written and the characters are easy to picture. I truly enjoyed this book.
Yum yum yummy! I think I liked this one even better than the first! Crone is too tasty for words.

We get to go deeper into this world that Valerie made, including the characters. Don't get me wrong, the first one was hot as hell, as was Armand, apparently it runs in the family, but I was super excited to see further in. I love love loved this one and totally want to see more of these guys!

Crone stole my heart from the beginning. He tries to not to fall for Tessa but fate has other ideas. His protectiveness and determination to keep her from harm makes him a true hero. Tessa thinks she can use Crone to gain her magic but her heart gets in the way. Together, the two try to break a centuries old curse and overcome their own stubbornness and desires. Twombly has created two memorable characters a strong, sexy jinn with one weakness a delightfully ditzy witch who just may save the day.
Action, sizzle, and more to come make this second book of the Sultry Nights series a delight to read.

Sultry Nights is book two in A Jinn's Seduction series by Valerie Twombly. This story can be read as a stand-a-lone.

I loved Spanish Nights, so I’ve been waiting for the author to continue this series. I enjoyed returning to the Jinn world that the author has created. Sultry Nights was a nice read. It’s a quick story that treats us to a fast-paced steamy romance.

Crone is a sexy Jinn with one weakness, his tortured past. I loved that he is a tortured soul and I felt for him. Tessa she was sweet for a witch. I liked that she couldn’t do magic, well she can, but it goes all haywire on her. That was too funny. These two must overcome their stubbornness and desires to break a centuries old curse.

What I Didn’t Like

❅ I think the author laid too much out their. I wanted more surprises in the storyline, then what we got.

❅ Crone and Tessa are mates, so it’s an insta-attraction that neither can deny. It was ok, but I felt the romance was a little to quick and predictable. I never fully felt the couple move from lust/attraction to love.

If you enjoy a steamy romance with a side of sexy Jinn, then you might like reading a Sultry Nights. I am looking forward to more in A Jinn’s Seduction series.
